As a Holistic Nutritionist and mother, I want the best health for my clients, my family, and the earth.


After health issues affected members of my family, I was lead to learn more about nutrition and its importance in the prevention of disease and overall health. I graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where I received my Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) designation and I've been working in the health food industry since 2005.

I have 2 young boys and becoming a Mom took my interest in whole foods to new heights. I have the life experience to supplement my educational and career knowledge. I have always been passionate about food, and have experienced tremendous personal transformation using nutrition and lifestyle changes. My continually evolving journey takes me to new places every day, and my desire is to share my experience and knowledge to guide you to make the best choices for yourself, your children, and your family on the road to optimal health.

Nutrition is a basic component of preventative medicine effective for solving many common health issues. It addresses exercise, sleep, stress management, and a healthy attitude.

A Holistic Nutritionist's Approach

We take an individual approach. Each person is unique, and we treat everyone according to your own specific needs. We help clients suffering from health issues by looking for the root cause of symptoms. How symptoms develop and how a person heals is unique to each individual. After assessing nutritional imbalances and weaknesses, we work together with you to create a sustainable plan.

We do this by focusing on the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Your state of mind and spiritual wellbeing affect your physical health, so we help you create a balanced lifestyle. We determine all the nutritional and lifestyle needs of each client including referring you to other health care professionals if deemed appropriate.

Once we've looked at your individual case as a whole, we educate you about the benefits and health impact of optimal nutrition. We develop custom programs for you based on your:

• likes/dislikes
• individual needs
• food preferences
• allergies or sensitivities
• lifestyle, and
• genetic predisposition.

Our recommendations include the use of whole foods that are nutrient-dense, menu plans, natural source supplements, and lifestyle modifications. And we support the progress of each client's health goals throughout your journey to optimal health.

What is the difference between a Dietician and a Holistic Nutritionist?

Dieticians are:

• Mandated by the government
• Trained to follow Canada's Food Guide and deal with clients according to these guidelines
• Focused on the treatment of the health condition not prevention

Holistic Nutritionists:

• Focus on prevention
• Stay as close to nature's 'whole foods' as possible
• Recommend whole locally grown and organic foods
• Work together with clients to achieve clearest approach and best results
